Privacy Policy - Trade Pulse

Last updated: 16 August 2026

1. Who we are

Trade Pulse is a financial-reporting platform operated by Chase Consultants Pty Ltd ("Chase Consultants", "we", "us", "our"), a financial-analytics and fractional-CFO consultancy based in Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information in connection with the Trade Pulse dashboard ("the Service"). If you have any questions, contact us at melissa@chaseconsultants.com.au.

2. Information we collect and access

We collect and access only the information needed to provide reporting:

  • Account information — the email address and name used to sign in to the dashboard.

  • Connected-platform data — where a client authorises it, we access read-only reporting data from third-party platforms, including:

    • Shopify — sales, orders, products, sessions and related commerce metrics;

    • Google Ads — advertising cost, impressions, clicks and conversion metrics;

    • Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising cost and performance metrics.

All connected-platform data is accessed on a read-only basis for reporting only. We do not create, edit or manage campaigns, orders, budgets or account settings.

3. How we use information

We use the information solely to produce financial and performance reporting for the client to whom it relates — consolidating sales, marketing spend and margin into dashboards and analysis. We do not use it for advertising, ad targeting, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

4. Google user data - Limited Use

Trade Pulse's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, Google Ads data is used only to display reporting to the client it belongs to; is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide the Service, with the client's consent, or as required by law; is not used for advertising; and is not read by humans except with the client's consent, for security purposes, or as required by law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information or client data. Each client's data is isolated to its own private tenant and is never combined with, or made visible to, any other client. We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the Service (see Section 7), or where required by law.

6. Data storage and security

Data is stored in access-controlled infrastructure (Cloudflare). Credentials and access tokens are encrypted and are never exposed to end users. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

7. Third-party services

We rely on the following providers to operate the Service: Google (Google Ads API), Meta (Marketing API), Shopify (Admin API) and Cloudflare (hosting and database). Your use of any connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and privacy policy.

8. Data retention

We retain reporting data for as long as necessary to provide the Service to the relevant client, and delete or de-identify it on request or when it is no longer required.

9. Your rights

Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
